Top 50 manufacturers dominate European PE
The top 50 PE film extrusion companies in Europe have increased their market share by an average of 30% over past three years, compared with a 10% increase for the European PE film market in general. As a result, their share of the overall PE film market has grown from 55% in 2000 to 60% for 2003. This increase has been mainly achieved through acquisition but there have also been some substantial investments.
