    Flame-retardant PAs

GE Advanced Materials has introduced six new grades of flame-retardant reinforced PA for electrical and electronics applications. The new grades – Starflam PF1005Z270 and PF1007Z270 – are based on glass-fibre-reinforced PA6, PA66 and PA66/6 and have been designed to meet forthcoming European Union (EU) legislation governing end-of-life disposal of components containing halo-genated flame-retardants.
