Former PolyOne firm named Excel Polymers
Following its sale, the former PolyOne Elastomers and Performance Additives Group has been renamed Excel Polymers. The business was purchased by Lion Chemical Capital LLC and ACI Capital Co Inc, USA, in August 2004.
Excel Polymers is a supplier of elastomers for use in a range of end markets, including the construction, transportation, electrical, industrial and printing industries. With its headquarters in Solon, Ohio, USA, the company operates five manufacturing plants in the USA and one each in Mexico and the UK. Its first compounding facility in China is expected to open near Shanghai later this year.
