    Biotronik wins US approval for cardioverter defibrillator implant

    A high energy implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), trademarked Xelos DR-T, has gained approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its manufacturer Biotronik Inc, which has its headquarters in Germany.
