    Filament winding system makes one-piece fuselage

    A computer numerical control (CNC) fibre placement machine and an associated off-line composite programming system, supplied by Cincinnati Machine Ltd, UK, have been used to produce a one-piece carbon fibre fuselage developed by a consortium of European aerospace firms.
