Nanopillars form ferroelectromagnet
Scientists from four US universities have jointly constructed a nanostructured barium titanate (BaTiO3)-cobalt iron oxide (CoFe2O4) ferroelectromagnet. The self-assembled multiferroic structure contained vertical CoFe2O4 nanopillars in a ferroelectric BaTiO3 matrix.
