    BASF to build feedstock plant

    BASF, Germany, has begun construction of a new plant for the production of the base material dihydroxy diphenyl sulfone (DHDPS). The facility, in Ludwigshafen, Germany, will have an annual production capacity of 6000 tpa and is expected to go on line in mid-2008.
