    Extra scrutiny of composites on 787

    The Boeing Co, USA, has stated that it expects the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will put a “special condition” tag on the company’s 787 to prove its crashworthiness, due to the large volume of composites used in the plane’s manufacturer, according to Flight International magazine.
