Manufacturing agreement to produce rotor tubes for US uranium enrichment
Alliant Techsystems (ATK), USA, has entered into a three-way manufacturing supply agreement with Hexcel Corp and USEC Inc, both USA, for the supply of carbon fibre and carbon fibre products for the manufacture of rotor tubes for USEC’s American Centrifuge Plant (ACP) in Piketon, Ohio. The ACP will enrich uranium for commercial nuclear power reactors.
