    US securities regulators to investigate orthopaedic firms

    Following the recently settled US government investigation of consulting arrangements between orthopaedic device makers and US surgeons, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said it intended to investigate possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
