    Bio-On plans ‘beet-to-bioplastics’ unit

    Italian biotechnology company Bio-On srl and sugar producer Co.Pro.B hope to begin commercial production of a polyhdroxyalkanoate (PHA) bioplastic from green sugar beet, which will completely biodegrade in ten days.
