    Transmare launches bamboo fibre-reinforced PP and bioplastic compounds

    Rotterdam, The Netherlands-based Transmare Compounding has used Fakuma, which was held on 14–18 October, 2008, in Friedrichshafen, Germany, as the international launch platform for a range of products that are reinforced with fibres from 100% renewable raw materials. The Transmare compounds are based on PP and biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) with bamboo fibre reinforcement.
