Carbon fibre used for main rotor blades of helicopters
A carbon fibre material has been used for the main rotor blade of the UH-1H and Bell model 205 and 212 helicopters, produced by Northwest Helicopters, based in Olympia, Washington, USA. The helicopters were presented at Heli-Expo 2009 in Anaheim, California, USA, on 22–24 February 2009.
