Composite technologies key to successful Delta II rocket launch
The US-based company ATK has contributed composite propulsion systems and spacecraft technologies to the United Launch Alliance’s Delta II rocket, which was successfully launched on 9 March 2009, from Space Launch Complex 17B at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, USA.
