    The world’s strongest superconducting magnet to be built

    A magnet made of yttrium barium copper oxide (YBCO), which could replace non-superconducting electromagnets, is to be built by the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) of Tallahassee, Florida, USA.
