    Nanomaterials are launched into space

    Two types of nanocomposite, which have been developed by researchers at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, New York, USA, are being tested on the International Space Station (ISS). They were aboard the space shuttle Atlantis when it launched on 16 November 2009.
